Mortgage Operations Trainer - Spring EQ

    Spring EQ is seeking an experience Mortgage Operations Trainer to teach and inform employees on the loan process, use of Blue Sage Software, and company policies and procedures related to the loan process. This includes creating and implementing onboarding materials and training resources, clarifying the proper use of Blue Sage and other software programs, and creating a library of documentation and resources for employees for quick reference.

    The Mortgage Operations Trainer will create an engaging and comprehensive training programs for all

    Production/Operations team members at Spring EQ.

    This position helps improve the employee experience and supports the ongoing training of employees.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and deliver on-the-job training for mortgage operations business units
    • Partner with subject-matter experts to create training methods
    • Improve learning effectiveness by developing new approaches, sharing best practices
    • Manage the scheduling of training sessions
    • Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement
    • Prepare training materials: guides, job aids, module summaries, videos, etc.
    • Align training goals with overall corporate and departmental objectives.
    • Follow change management procedures for updating training manuals to ensure appropriate distribution of materials and consistent communication of changes.
    • Monitor trainee attendance and participation using tests/ assessments to measure trainees’ comprehension of class material.
    • Meet deadlines and quality standards
    • Effectively manage multiple demands and competing priorities
    • Develop effective professional partnerships with all colleagues

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Education, OR 10+ years Mortgage Operations experience
    • Working knowledge & experience in Learning & Development tools/procedures
    • Knowledge of mortgage operations process and documentation, minimum 3 years in mortgage industry preferred
    • Background includes position(s) held in Mortgage operations training with experience creating content and facilitating, with minimum 3 years training experience required
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
    • Detail-oriented
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft
    • Exceptional customer service and effective communication
