    Job Details


    Leads the development and delivery of general and specific training programs for organization employees. This includes delivering training and development opportunities to internal employees that encompasses a variety of areas including, but not limited to, management/leadership development, soft skills, department specific training, and other ad-hoc training. Leads the analysis, design, development, and implementation of new or additional training and educational programs (using ADDIE, or other, methodology), utilizes eLearning content in our LMS, measures training effectiveness (using Kirkpatrick or other methodology) and participates in other related duties described below. 


    Content Development:

    • Leads all phases of the content development cycle, including needs analysis, planning, designing, creating, implementing, evaluating and editing. Development should include best practices for both instructor-led and virtual instructor led material.
    • Develops communication and roll out strategy plan for new talent development initiatives.
    • Manages multiple program development projects simultaneously and tracking program development life cycles with focus on efficient program development and delivery.
    • Designs, develops and delivers a variety of programs to build effective management skills based on the development needs of managers and to enhance service skills in the general population.
    • Develops participant and instructor materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, job aids, etc).
    • Updates curriculum as needed to enhance effectiveness based on subject matter experts and session participant evaluation/feedback.
    • Ensures adult learning principles are incorporated into training programs.
    • Drives brand values and philosophy in all training and development activities.

    Managing and Facilitating Programs:

    • Administers and delivers training initiatives which include, but are not limited to: our Core Competency Curriculum, Management/Leadership Skills, Vendor related Leadership programs, Customer Service Skills etc.
    • Promotes and informs employees about all training programs.
    • Delivers other training programs using various modalities including: instructor led, online through an eLearning or Virtual Learning Environment, or occasionally on a one-on-one basis.
    • Uses best practice training delivery methods to enhance training effectiveness and accomplish learning objectives. 
    • Utilize eLearning courses in our LMS to facilitate training.

    Evaluating Training Program Effectiveness:

    • Establishes and implements training effectiveness evaluation and reporting plan (using Kirkpatrick or other methodology).
    • Partners with operational leaders to assess if employees demonstrate effective technical and leadership skills.
    • Works with team to monitor and evaluate training programs, assess results, implement enhancements, and provide recommendations for training program effectiveness.
    • Ensures that new and current training and development programs are aligned to effectively impact key business indicators and support the organization’s mission and vision.
    • Tracks key business indicators to determine the effectiveness of current training and development programs.

    Other Relatied Duties:

    • Coaches managers to enhance own performance and to improve the performance of employees.
    • Helps employees employee developmental/training needs and assists employees identify specific behaviors that will contribute to service excellence.
    • Identifies eLearning courses (or other resources) to incorporate into our LMS.
    • Remains current with training trends, incorporating best practices and techniques.


    • BA - Bachelor of Arts or BS - Bachelor of Sciences



    • At least 5-7 years of related experience in talent development
    • Advanced Microsoft suite experience
    • Excellent facilitation skills
    • Strong writing and editing skills
    • Instruction Design experience
    • Content/Curriculum Development
    • Excellent organizational, operational and process/project management skills
    • Strong communication and relationship management skills
    • High Influencing and consulting skills
    • A good understanding of the learning and development industry
    • Ability to work flexible schedule to support delivery which may exceed the typical workday
    • Program/Project Management
    • Stakeholder management
    • Learning Management System experience
    • Zoom, Teams, and other virtual platforms
    • Currently all roles are virtual however future travel to other locations to support training needs at multiple locations may be required up to 25%.
