    Job Description

    MSB Resources is seeking a Training Manager to be based in NJ or PA.  The Training Manager will play a key role in developing Learning and Development programs for employees throughout the Company. We’re seeking creative teacher/mentor to design and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize development opportunities in the areas of operations, sales and leasing, affordable housing compliance and maintenance.

    Create training programs and systems for an affordable housing portfolio of 10,000+ units.

    Requirements

    • Develop and manage the training program and evaluate if its performance is meeting business needs and improving company performance.
    • Responding to training requests from operations team and providing training solutions.
    • Create and implement learning and development programs and methods.
    • Provide field training to site team associates and managers.
    • Identify and assess the training needs of the organization.
    • Integrate new LMS and build corporate university
    • Stay up to date on training trends, developments, and best practices.
    • Train and grow regional on-site training mentors

    Successful Candidates

    Successful candidates must be flexible, always seeking new training resources, proactive self-starter, analytical thinker/problem solver, very tech savvy, and team oriented to include a love for collaboration.

    • Project management expertise, proven experience in curriculum design, creation of training manuals and resources
    • Creating and maintaining training budgets.
    • Experience researching new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning.
    • Experience in, conducting needs analysis including the analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of training.


    Professional Experience

    • Working with LMS: 3 years (Required)
    • Curriculum designs: 3 years (Required)
    • RealPage experience: 3 years (Preferred)
    • Affordable Housing Knowledge (Highly Preferred)
    • Affordable Housing Certifications (Highly Preferred)
    • Training in a multi-family environment: 5 years (Preferred)
    • Multi-Family operations experience: (Preferred)

    Attendance/Travel

    This position is exempt from overtime and may entail working hours as needed to perform the position requirements satisfactorily. The position is scheduled for a typical 40-hour workweek; however, business needs may dictate longer hours.

    Travel required: 80% with some overnight stays. Travel will include visiting properties in NYC, NJ, PA, MD, IN, MO, OK and the US Virgin Islands.
