    Position Summary


    The Talent Management Senior Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating talent management solutions and programs designed to drive a high performing culture, improve performance, build capability and achieve long-term success.

    The incumbent will partner with HR leadership and business leaders to identify business needs and craft talent solutions in the areas of learning and development, performance management, talent review/succession planning, individual and team development, career planning, diversity and inclusion and assessment tools.

    Essential Functions:

    • Design, deliver and support talent management initiatives and programs such as succession planning, goal setting, performance management, team development, diversity and inclusion and employee/leadership development

    • Conduct needs assessments and gap analysis to identify learning and development gaps and develop and/or deliver solutions that address business needs

    • Collaborate with the HR team and business leaders to identify opportunities to grow High Potential and marginalized employees as successors for key roles

    • Partner with business leaders and the HR team to support employees in managing their careers and professional development; Partner with Communication team to ensure proper change management for all talent management initiatives

    • Uses internal HR data (engagement survey, performance, HR metrics, learning metrics, etc.) and appropriate analysis to anticipate and communicate current and emerging needs. Identifies patterns, trends and measures of effectiveness and proactively offers recommendations to mitigate risk as appropriate based on analysis; Serve as a subject matter expert in the organization’s talent tools and Learning Management System (LMS)

    • Apply assessment tools to evaluate skills/competencies, performance, or group dynamics to identify and deploy appropriate interventions

    • Source, identify and select vendors to supplement learning solutions to build a catalog of relevant learning opportunities and tools

    • Performs other duties as assigned


    Qualifications

    Required Skills:

    • Experienced in talent management processes, tools and methodologies such as, but limited to, adult learning, leadership development, high-potential talent development, succession planning and performance management processes, instructional design, diversity/inclusion, and career planning

    • Experienced in the design of learning and development programs/curriculum across all levels of the organization

    • Ability to conduct needs assessments, focus groups, and gap analysis at all levels of the organization and make recommendations for implementation, supported by plans of action

    • Knowledge of competency modeling and tools

    • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and/or programs.

    • Strong analytical skills, ability to use metrics to assess learning outcomes, and drive informed and creative recommendations on talent programs

    • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills


    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with talent management tools and LMS platforms. Articulate, Workday Talent, Workday Learning, and Camtasia experience

    • Instructional design experience

    • Knowledge of competency modeling and assessment tools (MBTI, DISC, DDI, Lominger, Korn Ferry)


    Education/Years of Required Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Talent Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field of study

    • Minimum 5 years of Talent Management and/or Learning and Development experience

    • In lieu of a degree, an additional 4 years of related experience is required

    • Certified in Instructional Design is a plus
