Some discussion topics to be covered:

HR professionals will gain valuable insight into how the most recent NLRB decisions will affect the workplace, both unionized and non-unionized.

They will be provided with a roadmap of what is likely to be coming down the pike after a new administration is sworn in and how to prepare for it.

Strategic union-avoidance tools will be discussed, including how to effectively handle efforts to unionize amid a pandemic.

Presenter:

Lori Armstrong Halber, a partner at Reed Smith. She has extensive labor experience and also an EMBA, so she has a keen business perspective.. Lori is an experienced labor and employment lawyer and a partner in the firm’s Philadelphia and Princeton offices. A seasoned and dynamic litigator with a strong background in traditional labor, Lori also has an Executive MBA, giving her unique insight into the interplay between the legal and business issues employers face. Lori’s philosophy is that proactively helping employers be the best they can be not only limits potential legal risks but also results in an engaged workforce, which in turn leads to greater profitability and success for the employer.

Kelsey Beerer is an Associate in the Fisher Phillips Philadelphia office andshe brings both private and public sector experience to our labor andemployment practice representing employers nationwide. Kelsey brings depth of proficiency to clients with respect to both employment-related litigation matters and traditional labor matters, and participating in all stages of administrative investigations and hearings.
