L&D Philly will host our last monthly workshop for 2019 on Thursday 12/12 from 530 to 830 pm in Langhorne! Join the Learning & Development Professionals of Greater Philadelphia and the Mid New Jersey Chapter of ATD for a combined event to close out a fantastic year of programming!

We’re trying something new for this evening. With “Table Topics,” attendees will form groups and rotate among tables where our guest speakers will share insights, trends, and tools on important talent management topics. After a few minutes of discussion, groups will move to the next table. After several 15-minute rounds, attendees can move to the table of their choice or remain where they are for the duration. Our goal is to create an informal and fun atmosphere while generating some lively conversation and, of course, networking!

Despite the deceptive weather patterns fall arrived in the Northern Hemisphere over a week and a half ago. Animals of all shapes and sizes went into panic mode trying to prepare for winter's arrival. I get the same vibe from the business world this time of year. Everyone gets busy trying to spend money left in the budget, trying to complete Q4 projects, looking back and realizing they didn't achieve one or more of their yearly goals and trying to jury rig something together, or they engage in furious planning for 2020. So how do you get a business partner to focus on what you need from them right now? The same way you would get a squirrel to pay attention - give them an ACORN! Join L&D Philly and leading communication expert & researcher Dr. Patricia Scott for a fun, disruptive, and thoughtful exploration of the tips and tricks she knows will get people to pay attention to you when you need them. Saturday October 12th at Temple University's Ambler Campus. Information & registration here our website.
