Session #1: Determine the business need for training requests and identify learner needs.

The aim is to understand how to align learning initiatives with broader organizational objectives, ensuring the most efficient use of resources and maximum impact.

Session #2: Develop strong and human-centered learning outcomes

In this session, we'll delve into the heart of human-centered learning objectives. This approach places the learner's needs, perspectives, and experiences at the forefront of the learning process.

    • Examine how to formulate objectives that resonate with learners on a personal level, fostering not just comprehension but also motivation and engagement.
    • How to use “knowledge, skill, and attitude (KSA) to inform your learning objective approach.
    • Develop learning outcomes that connect with Bloom's Taxonomy and Gagne’s Nine Events of Learning.
    • Then, using real-world scenarios, we'll practice crafting objectives that are clear, meaningful, and measurable.

We will explore each of the model's four levels: Reaction, Learning, Behavior, and Results, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of how these components contribute to a full picture of training effectiveness.

    • Explain the four levels of the Kirkpatrick Model and describe how each contributes to a comprehensive evaluation of training effectiveness.
    • Examine how to collect and interpret data at each level.
