Learn from the lived experiences of a senior organizational development leader on how to best assess, build and maintain the culture your organization needs to achieve—and exceed—its goals. Be inspired by a case study of an organization that went from having over 50% employee turnover and abysmal employee opinion survey results to winning state and local “Best Place to Work” honors. See firsthand how training and HR can be key drivers in shaping organizational culture and, ultimately, business results.

Theresa Hummel-Krallinger

Theresa Hummel-Krallinger is an Emmy Award-winning comedian, a well-respected senior HR professional and performance consultant, but it is her work as a humorist and motivational speaker that sets her apart. Known for her lively and interactive presentation style, she is a frequently requested speaker on topics of leadership, career management, organizational culture and workplace communications. A core component of her business is developing technical managers so they can grow their people management and communication skills. Her program, “Taking a Byte Out of Leadership” is a popular keynote at conferences and professional organizations.

Theresa is the Past President of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of ATD, and is the Past President for a local Toastmasters club. She is currently on the steering committee for Philly L&D and is a member of the National Speakers Association. She has been a featured speaker at numerous regional and international conferences for ATD, SHRM, DIA (Drug Information Association), Training Directors Forum and others.

Theresa served on the non-credit faculty at Temple University for 17 years, teaching courses in business communications and leadership. She facilitates “Meet the Author at the Pyramid Club,” a monthly program that has hosted over 100 authors over the last 6 years, and has been named one the top 10 best networking associations in Philly by the Philadelphia Business Journal. Theresa and her team won CLO Magazine's Learning Elite Award in 2011. She won Emmy’s in 2019 and 2021 for her work on the PBS talk show, “Counter Culture.”
